Maintenance
1. Periodically check welds for cracks.
2. Check wheel tightness and tire pressure.
3. Lubricate wheels if they begin to bind or squeak.
4. Keep dry and free of rust.
Assembly
The only assembly required is mounting the Axle (#F) to the Axle Brace (#G) on
the main frame, bolting on the Handle (#A), and putting on Tool Tray (#C).
1. Hold the Axle (#F) behind the cart, lined up between the two holes on the two
Axle Braces (#G). Insert a U-Bolt (#H) from the back of the cart, through the
Axle (#F) and then the Axle Brace (#G), and secure with nuts (provided). Repeat
on other side.
2. To place the Handle (#A). Place the Handle (#A) on the outside of the rear of
the Tank Frame (#D) in the shaped slot on the Handle.
Note: See Assembly Diagram on page 5 to see how Tool Tray Brace (#B) is posi-
tioned behind the Tank Frame (#D). The Tool Tray Brace will hold the Tool Tray in
place, behind the Tank Frame and above the Wheels.
While holding Handle in place, place the Tool Tray Brace (#B) against the Tank
Frame as shown on the Assembly Diagram. Insert the two Screws (#K) through
the Handle, through the Tank Frame and then through the Tool Tray Brace and
secure with nuts (provided). Place the Tool Tray (#C) onto the Tool Tray Brace
before securing the other side for the Handle. You may need an assistant to help
hold the Tool Tray in place while you attach the Handle, and the Tool Tray Brace
to the Tank Frame. Repeat on the other side.
Storage and Safety Precautions
1. Acetyline and Oxygen tanks should be stored away from all flammable
materials and heat sources. Follow tank maufacturer’s instructions and consult with your
gas supplier for the safest way to transport and store gases.
2. This cart is designed for a maximum of 48” tanks. Make sure tanks are strapped
securely to the cart (straps not provided).
3. Store and use this cart on a flat, level, hard surface.
4. After welding, double check that all gas valves are closed tightly.
