SAFETY INFORMATION
Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble or install the product.
CAUTION:
To ensure balanced fan operation, replace all blades on the fan at the same time. Do not mix and match old
blades with new blades.
PREPARATION
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Before beginning installation of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list and
diagrams. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install or operate the product.
Estimated Assembly Time: 20-30 minutes.
Tools Required for Assembly (not included): Phillips Screwdriver, Safety goggles, and Step ladder.
CAUTION:
Verify the hole pattern and size of blade
arm (A) matches the hole pattern on the existing fan
motor. If the holes in the blade arm do not match up
with the holes in the motor, do NOT use these blade
arms. Do NOT attempt to drill any holes into the
motor
or motor housing
-- doing so will cause damage to the
motor and/or fan.
1. Remove existing blade arms
from motor of existing ceiling
fan, then remove blade arms
from blades. Retain motor
screws and blades; discard old
blade washers and screws
.
2. Attach blade arm (A) to blade
using screws (AA) and washers
(BB). If the blade holes do not
match up with the blade arm
holes, holes will need to be drilled
into the blades. Measure before
drilling holes so the middle hole
will be in line with the center of
blade. Be sure the other two holes
will be aligned with the outer two posts on the blade arm
(A). Once measuring is complete for each blade, begin
drilling holes.
3. Mount blade arms (A) to motor
using the motor screws that were
previously removed.
