If too much of the system memory is being consumed 
or the device’s performance is worsening, please 
execute this function.   

Note: this function clears all bookmarks and all books 
will be reset to be read from the beginning.

will be cleared.

Driver Updates and Software Updates 

Please download official upgrade packages from the 
Hanvon website. Copy decompressed packages into 
the root directory of the SD card. 
If the update packages are “Update.bin”  and 
“Update.cde,”  execute the  “Update Drivers.”  If the 
update packages are “hwepb.cck” and “hwepb.upd,” 
execute the “Upg. Software.” 

Note: During the update process, please ensure the 
battery is not low. If the device turns off during an 
update, the device may be damaged. It’s best to
