SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
SAFETY AND LIMITING INTERFERENCE
Our monitors have been constructed with the latest methods following the European directives
regarding safety and limiting interference. They have CLASS 1 insulation as dictated in the European
standard EN 60065, that requires a ground. The monitor must be connected to the power source
including a ground wire like the one provided or similar that has been approved for use in the country
where the monitor will be used. Do not use the monitor if an approved power outlet with ground is not
available. Avoid damaging the power wire making sure not to squash, step on, cut or tug on it. To
disconnect the power, unplug the wire from the outlet.
USES
The monitor is intended to be used indoors. Avoid exposure to humidity, intense cold, rain and
corrosive agents. Wait at least 15 minutes before turning on the monitor if it has been stored in a cold
place in order to avoid condensation.
CRTS
Our monitors have CRTs that have been constructed and certified against implosion. However, they
are components under vacuum and their surface is subject to intense external pressure. Therefore, it
is necessary to avoid hitting them in order to prevent implosion which would shoot slivers of glass.
Therefore, the personnel responsible to install this monitor must wear glove, eye protection and
protective clothing during transport, mounting and replacement.
MONITOR MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS
Do not open the appliance. In case of problems or for maintenance, contact the nearest Authorized Service agent
that guarantees the use of original spare parts to maintain our high level of quality and service. The monitor does
not contain internal spare parts or points of regulation that should be manipulated by the user. Repairs with non-
original spare parts, especially those intended for the appliance's safety, could cause fires or electrocution and
compromise its performance.
