Operation
Selecting programme and
starting the programme run
It is recommended that you carry out a
test run before the
fi
rst programme run
in order to remove residues from the manu-
facturing process and in order to ensure that
the appliance functions perfectly. Carry out
this test run when the dishwasher is empty
and without any dishwasher detergent.
1. Select the suitable programme based on
the “Programme table”, see page EN-17.
2. Press the button
P
(2) and/or (3) until the
symbol corresponding to the desired pro-
gramme appears on the display.
3. Push the button (10) to start the pro-
gramme run.
During the programme run
– the bars (24) at the bottom of the dis-
play indicate which of the four sub-pro-
grammes are currently running (pre-
wash, main wash, rinse, dry).
– the two dots in the remaining time dis-
play (14) are flashing.
– the display switches off to save energy.
The programme continues.
At the end of the programme
run
Once the programme run has come to an
end (except the pre-rinse programm, this pro-
gramm is without wash and dry)
– the door opens automatically for the steam
to escape.
– a signal tone sounds.
1. Press the button (1) to switch off the
dishwasher.
2. Turn the tap off.
3. Continue with „Unloading the dishwasher“.
Unloading the dishwasher
CAUTION!
Risk of scalding!
Once the programme run has come to
an end the door opens automatically
for the hot steam to escape. Therefore
be careful.
■
Maintain a suffi cient distance from
the door and do not hold your head
or upper body directly above the
open door.
■
Make sure that children do not open
the door if the programme run only
fi nished a short time ago.
■
Allow the dishes to cool before un-
loading the dishwasher.
Trip hazard!
An open dishwasher door can quickly
become a trip hazard.
■
Close the door after every use.
■
Only leave the door slightly open to
cool down.
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
■
Make sure that children and pets do
not stand on the open door.
Once the programme run has come to an end
and the dishes have cooled, you can remove
them.
1. When unloading the dishwasher, start
with the lower rack and then unload the
upper rack. This will prevent water drip-
ping onto the lower layer of dishes from
the top layer of dishes.
2. Leave the dishwasher door slightly open
so that the inside of the dishwasher can
also cool off and dry out.
