Depending on the space conditions, you can
change the direction of the door hinges on
your appliance. This work, however, requires
you to have a certain degree of craftsmanship
skills. Please read the following steps com-
pletely before commencing work.
In addition to the package contents, you will
need:
– a medium sized cross-slotted screwdriver;
– a small flat-headed screwdriver;
– a size 8 and size 10 spanner;
– pliers.
1. Disconnect the mains plug from the sock-

2. Use a flat-headed screwdriver to lever out
the cover caps (12) and remove them.
3. Use a cross-slotted screwdriver to re-
move the screws (13).
4. Remove the cover (14).

5. Use an 8 mm spanner to unscrew the
screws (15) and remove the hinge (16).
6. Open the upper door, take it out and set it
aside.
Cleaning before use
In order to remove the odour which is pres-
ent in all new appliances, wipe the fridge and
freezer compartment out prior to first use
with a solution made from 100 ml vinegar
and 200 ml water. Then wipe it out with clean
water and dry all of the parts off afterwards.
Electrical connections
• Insert the mains plug into an easily ac-
cessible and properly installed socket
(220–240 V~ / 50 Hz).
