The water filter in the water tank can
only filter out floating particles from
the water. It does not destroy bacteria
or microbes.
■
Use only fresh drinking water to fill
the water tank. Do not fill the water
tank with any other fluids.
■
Clean the water tank if it has not
been used for 48 hours; rinse out the
water system if water has not been
dispensed for 5 days.
■
When using the ice maker for the first
time, do not consume the ice cubes
produced during the first 6 hours.
■
If the water dispenser (ice or cold wa-
ter) has not been in use for at least a
week, replace the entire water supply
(see Point 4 in Chapter „Switch on the
ice maker“ on page EN-26). Dispose of
the water used to rinse the system.
The appliance may not operate proper-

tures for extended periods of time. This
can then lead to an increase in temper-

■
Always ensure the ambient tem-
perature is kept within the specified
range (see „Product fiche concerning
Regulation (EU) No 1060/2010“ on
page EN-43)
■
Do not place any appliances that em-
anate heat (e.g. microwave, toaster)
on top of the refrigerator.
Risk of injury from frozen goods!
Improper handling of the appliance
may result in injury. There is a risk of
burns caused by low temperatures.
■
The food and the inside walls of the
freezer have a very low temperature.
Never touch them with wet hands.
This can cause injury to the skin. Skin
damage can occur even with dry skin.
■
Do not put ice cubes, crushed ice or
ice lollies straight into your mouth
from the freezer.
NOTICE

the compressor may make its way into
the cooling circuit.
■
Only transport the appliance in a ver-
tical position, where possible.
■
Allow the refrigerating appliance to
stand upright for 2 hours before start-
up. The lubricant will flow back into
the compressor during this time.
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to property damage.
■
Do not pull or lift the appliance by its
doors or door handles.
■
The appliance must only be placed
on a level and firm surface. The sur-
