Setting the temperature
CAUTION
Health hazard!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if exposed to low ambient tempera-
tures for extended periods of time. The
temperature may increase in the fridge
which may cause the foods stored with-
in to spoil more quickly.

Always ensure the prescribed ambi-
ent temperature is maintained (see
“Intended use” on page EN-4).
If you set a lower temperature, you will
require greater cooling power. This in-
creases energy consumption.
Switching on for the first time
The standard temperature setting for when
the appliance is first switched on is +4 °C.
All indicators on the control panel will also il-
luminate for a couple of seconds; the control
panel is locked.
Setting the temperature
You can set the temperature to between
+2 °C and +8 °C.
1. Touch the button (15) repeatedly until the
indicator for the desired temperature lights
up.

The temperature is reduced by 2 °C or
1 °C, respecively each time you press
the button. If the setting reaches “SUPER
COOL”, the indicator will return to +8 °C
next time you press the button.
The ideal fridge temperature is +6 °C.
Activating quick refrigerating
The “quick refrigerating” (“SUPER COOL”)
mode rapidly cools the fridge to +2 °C.
• Press the button (15) repeatedly until the
indicator (14) is shown on the control pan-
el.
Deactivating “Quick refrigerating”
– Quick refrigerating is automatically deacti-
vated after 6 hours.
• To manually deactivate quick refrigerating,
touch the button (15) repeatedly until the
indicator for the desired temperature lights
up.
