If necessary, you can change the opening di-
rection of your refrigerator door. This work,
however, requires you to have a certain de-
gree of craftsmanship skills. Please read the
following steps completely before changing
the hinges.
In addition to the package contents, you will
require:
– Star-headed screwdriver (PH2)
– 8 and 10-sized spanner
– Combination pliers or tongue-and-groove
pliers
1. Disconnect the mains plug from the sock-
et.

2. Unscrew the Phillips-head screw and re-
move the hinge cover (9).

3. Use a Philips screwdriver or a size 8 mm
spanner to remove the three screws.
Remove the hinge plate (10).

4. Unscrew the Phillips-head screw and also
remove the cover (11) on the opposite
side.
5. Tilt the fridge door slightly and lift it verti-
cally upwards from the pin on the middle
hinge (12).
6. Set the door aside.
7. Remove the plastic ring from the pin.

8. Unscrew both screws on the middle
hinge (12) and pull the hinge out of the
lower door.
9. Tilt the freezer door slightly and lift it ver-
tically upwards from the pin on the lower
hinge (13).
Set the door aside.

10. Tilt the appliance back as far as possible
(45° max.) in such a way that the front
feet of the appliance (5) and the lower
hinge plate (13) are easy to reach.
11. Unscrew the hinge plate (13) and the
appliance foot (5).
12. Unscrew the self-tapping screw and the
appliance foot (5) on the opposite side.

13. Use a pair of pliers to unscrew the hinge
pin from the upper hinge plate (10). Flip
over the hinge plate and screw in the
hinge pin again.
