con, sausage and raw fish on the glass
shelf above the vegetable drawer (5).
This is where the temperature is lowest.
– Place fresh fruit and vegetables in the
vegetable drawer (5).
– If you want to freeze food and store it for
a long period, put raw meat, frozen food,

freezer drawer (4) (see “Freezing foods /
storing frozen foods” on page EN-15).
– Store strong alcohol only standing up-
right and tightly closed.
– Allow hot food to cool before placing it
in the fridge.
The temperatures within the appliance
and therefore also the energy con-
sumption may increase if the doors are
frequently opened or opened for long peri-
ods, or if the prescribed ambient tempera-
tures are exceeded or are too low (see
“Intended use” on page EN-4).
Maintaining quality
• To maintain the flavour and freshness of
food in the fridge, only place packaged
food in the fridge. Use special plastic con-
tainers for food or customary films.
• Place the food
– in the fridge in a way that allows the air to
circulate freely. Do not cover the shelves
with paper or anything similar.
– somewhere that is not directly against
the rear wall. Otherwise it may freeze
onto the rear wall.
