Operation
Before getting started
• Read the “Safety“ chapter from page EN-4.
• Set up and connect the appliance as
described in chapter “First use“ from
page EN-11.
Switching the appliance on
and off
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
If the cooling appliance has been trans-
ported horizontally, lubricant from the
compressor may get into the cooling
circuit.

Allow the appliance to stand upright
for approx. 2 hours after transport
and before connecting.
Switching on
• To switch the appliance on, insert the
mains plug into the socket.
The compressor starts to work, the refrig-
erant flows through the pipes and a quiet
humming sound can be heard.
All backlighting on the control panel will
light up.
If the appliance is making unusual
noises, check that it is stable and re-
move any objects that may be on top
of it.
Switching off
• To switch the appliance off completely,
pull the mains plug out of the socket.
If the appliance is switched off, leave
the appliance door (3) open slightly to
prevent mould from forming.
Standby mode
Before using the standby mode, make sure
there is no food in the appliance. The standby
mode can only be switched on and off when
unlocked.
• To put the appliance in standby mode,
press and hold the ‘Power’ button (15) for
3 seconds.
The indicator will light up and the dis-
play (11) will show ‘--’. The appliance will
stop cooling.
• To switch the appliance back on, press
and hold the ‘Power’ button for 3 seconds.
The indicator will go out and the dis-
play will show the temperature. The appli-
ance will start to cool.
Locking/unlocking the control
panel
• To unlock the control panel, press and
hold the ‘Eco’ button (14) for about 3 sec-
onds.
The indicator goes out on the control
panel and the control panel is unlocked.
The control panel will automatically
lock if you do not carry out any further
settings for approx. 20 seconds.
