Changing the door hinges
If necessary, you can change the opening di-
rection of the appliance. This work requires
some manual dexterity.
If you have to change the door hinge of
the appliance due to space constraints,
or if you want to change the door hinge for
other reasons, you must change the door
hinge before installation.
• Please read through all of the following
steps before starting work.
You will need the following tools:
– PH2 cross-tip screwdriver
– 8 mm spanner
Changing the opening direction of
the appliance door
1. Ensure that the appliance is not connect-
ed to the power supply.
2. Close the appliance door (2).

3. Loosen the screws (18) securing the pan-
el (19) to the top of the appliance and re-
move the panel.

4. Unscrew the upper hinge (20) with an
8 mm spanner or a cross-tip screwdriver
and remove it.

5. Remove the appliance door (2) and set it
aside carefully.

6. Lift out the blind plugs (21) at the upper
left of the housing and insert them on the
opposite side.

7. Unscrew the lower hinge (22) with an
8 mm spanner or a cross-tip screwdriver
and remove it.
