3. Attach adjustment strips to the left and to
the right of the worktop in order to achieve
the width of 560 mm.
4. Seal the cut surfaces with a special var-
nish, silicone sealant or cast resin to pre-
vent swelling caused by moisture.
Preparing and inserting the hob

Do not place the hob on the glass
ceramic edge!
1. Take the hob out of the packaging.
2. Remove all protective films and adhesive
tapes.
3. Turn the hob over and place it with the
glass side down on a soft surface.
4. Stick the supplied plastic strip onto the
lower-lying edge.
5. Carefully place the hob (residual heat in-
dicators at the front) in the middle of the
worktop cut-out.
6. Use the retaining clamps to fix the hob in
place to prevent it from slipping.
Screw the four retaining clamps into the
hob from below and clamp it to the work-
top.
