Setting the time
During start-up and after a power failure, you
will have to set the time. Otherwise the appli-
ance will not work.
The appliance is always in 24-hour
mode and can therefore not be
changed to 12-hour mode.
When the appliance is connected to the
power supply, a beep will sound and the dis-
play will show
0:00
.
1. Press the “Time/Timer” button (11) twice.
Both of the left digit displays will start flash-
ing on the display.
2. Turn the control dial (13) to set the num-
ber of hours.
3. Press the “Time/Timer” button (11) again.
Both of the right digit displays will start
flashing on the display.
4. Turn the control dial to set the minutes.
5. Press the “Time/Timer” button (11) once
again.
The digits in the display are no longer
flashing; the time is now set.
Using the clock as a timer
You can also use the appliance’s clock as a
timer:
1. Press the “Time/Timer” button (11).
“
00:00
” will appear on the display.
2. Adjust the desired duration setting by
turning the control dial (13).
3. To start the timer, press the “Start/+30sec/
Confirm” button (12).
A beep will sound when the set time is up.
Switching on and off the
security locking mechanism
(child lock)
When the security locking mechanism is ac-
tivated, the display (9) will show a lock indi-
cator:
1. To switch on the security locking mech-
anism (child lock), press and hold down
the “Stop/clear” button (14) for approx. 3
seconds.
A beep will sound and the lock indicator will
appear on the display.
2. To switch on the security locking mecha-
nism (child lock), press and hold down the
“Stop/clear” button (14) again for approx.
3 seconds.
A beep will sound and the time will show
in the display (9) again instead of the lock
indicator.
Using the microwave oven
WARNING
Microwave hazard!
A door that fails to close adequately
can cause microwave radiation to es-
cape. Under such circumstances, the
appliance may not be used.

If the door or door seals are dam-
aged, the oven must not be operated
until it has been repaired by a compe-
tent person.
