Defrost mode
WARNING
Health hazard!
Defrost water may contain hazardous
germs.
■
Avoid any physical contact.
■
Pour away the defrost water and do
not use it for anything else.
■
Clean used crockery thoroughly.
• Remove the packaging.
• Weigh the food if necessary, and place it
in an appropriately large container, which
can then collect the defrost water.
• Do not cover the food.
The appliance has 2 special defrost pro-
grammes: Defrosting according to weight, or
defrosting according to time.
When defrosting according to weight, the de-
frosting time is calculated automatically.
Requirement: Appliance is in stand-by mode.

If you select
d1
(defrost by weight) instead
of
d2
(defrost by time), you can set a defrost
time between 5 sec. and 95 min.
During operation, “Defrost” will flash in the
display along with the countdown for the de-
frosting time.
When the defrosting process is halfway
through, a beep signal sounds to remind
you to turn the frozen food. You can either
ignore the beep signal or open the cooking
chamber door and turn the frozen food over.
After turning, press the lower button “Bestäti-
gen/Start” (confirm/start) (13) once again, to
continue the defrosting process.
