First use after installation, settings and notes

Improper handling of the appliance

The appliance must never be operat-
ed without the turntable or food.

Always place cooking containers on
the turntable. This prevents liquid
from seeping into the appliance if it
should boil over.
Inserting the turntable

1. If you have not already done so, position
the turntable drive (4) in the hole in the
middle of the cooking chamber floor. Turn
the turntable drive slightly so that it slots
into place and can no longer be turned.
2. Position the roller ring (7) centrally into
the recess in the cooking chamber floor.
3. Place the turntable (8) centrally on the
roller ring. Turn the turntable slightly as
needed so that it slots into the turntable
drive.
Cleaning before use
• Please clean the appliance before its
first use (see “Care and maintenance” on
page EN-24).
First-time use
A slight odour may be produced during first
use. This is non-toxic and disappears after a
short moment.
Setting the time
1. Turn the control dial (9) to the “Timer” po-
sition .
The display will show
00:00
.
2. Press the “Start” button (11).
Both numbers on the left will flash.
3. Set the hours using the control dial (10).
4. Press the “Start” button again.
Both numbers on the right will flash.
5. Set the minutes using the control dial (10).
6. Press the “Start” button one more time.
The digits no longer flash.
The time is set and is shown on the dis-
play in standby mode.
If you want to abort the setting proce-
dure, press the “Pause/Stop” but-
ton (12).
