Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not nec-
essarily mean there is a defect in the appliance. For this reason, check
the tables to see if you can correct the malfunction.

Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
Never try to repair a defective or suspected defective appli-
ance yourself. You can put your own and future users’ lives in
danger. Only authorised specialists are allowed to carry out
this repair work.

Appliance is switched
off.
Switch the appliance
on.
Appliance switches
itself off.
Brush/nozzle blocked.
Switch the appliance
off and clean the brush/
nozzle.
Dust filter is blocked.
Overheat protection
has been activated.
Switch the appliance
off, leave to cool for
at least 30 minutes,
and clean the motor
protection filter.
Tube extension is
plugged.
Switch the appliance
off, check if the
tube extension for
blockages, and clean if
necessary.
