Seal the wall around the nipples with
waterproof sealant.
Install the escutcheon mounting plates.
Wrap the nipples with plumbers' tape.
Install the stops.
Lightly lubricate the o-rings on the mounting plates
using white plumbers' grease.
Install the escutcheons.
Install the mixer.
Tighten the nuts
