METHOD PROCEDURE
• Insert the cuvette into the holder and
ensure that the notch on the cap is
positioned securely in the groove.
• Press

. The display will show a 5 minute countdown prior to the measurement.
To skip the timer, press

twice
.
When the timer ends, the meter will perform the
reading. The instrument displays the result in

INTERFERENCES
Interference may be caused by:
• Chloride above 40000 mg/L
• Calcium above 20000 mg/L CaCO
3
• Magnesium above 10000 mg/L MgCO
3
• Silica above 500 mg/L SiO
2
• Color or suspended matter, filter the sample prior to analysis
• Organic matter in large amounts may impede the precipitation of barium sulfate
