METHOD PROCEDURE

• Press 

Zero

. The display will show “-0.0-” when the meter is zeroed and ready for 

measurement.

 

 

• Remove the cuvette.

• Add 0.5 mL of 

HI93731B-0 

Zinc Reagent B. 

Replace the plastic stopper and the cap. Swirl 
gently for 15 seconds.

• Insert the cuvette into the holder and ensure that the 

notch on the cap is positioned securely in the groove.

• Press 

Read

. The display will show a 3 minute and 30 second countdown prior to the 

measurement. To skip the timer, press 

Read

 twice. When the timer ends, the meter 

will perform the reading. The instrument displays the results in 

mg/L

 of 

zinc (Zn).

 

 

INTERFERENCES

Interference may be caused by:
• Iron above 7 mg/L
• Aluminum above 6 mg/L
• Copper, Manganese, Nickel above 5 mg/L
• Cadmium above 0.5 mg/L
