8. METHOD PROCEDURE
Note:
If tutorial mode is disabled, follow the measurement procedure below. If the
tutorial mode is enabled, press
Measure
and follow the messages on the screen.
• Fill the first cuvette (#1) with 10 mL of DIW (up to the
mark). Replace the plastic stopper and the cap.
• Insert the cuvette into the holder and ensure that the
notch on the cap is positioned securely in the groove.
• Press
Zero
. The display will show “-0.0-” when the meter is zeroed and ready for
measurement.
• Remove the cuvette.
• Fill the second cuvette (#2) with unfiltered sample (up
to the mark). Replace the plastic stopper and the cap.
This is the apparent color.
• Filter 10 mL of sample, through a filter with a 0.45 µm
membrane, into the third cuvette (#3) (up to the
10 mL mark). Replace the plastic stopper and the cap.
This is the true color.
