• After a few seconds, the display will show “

-0.0-

”. The meter is now zeroed and ready for

measurement.

• Remove the cuvette.

• Add the content of one packet of

HI93750B‑0

powder reagent. Replace the cap and shake

gently 1 minute.

• Press and hold

READ /TIMER

for three seconds. The display will show the countdown prior to

measurement. The beeper will signal a tone at the end of countdown period to alert the user.
Alternatively, wait for 3 minutes.

• Invert the cuvette for 5 times, replace the cuvette into the cuvette holder and ensure that the

notch on the cap is positioned securely into the groove. Press

READ /TIMER.

In both cases,

the lamp, cuvette and detector icons will appear on the display, depending on the measurement
phase.

• At the end of measurement, the instrument directly displays concentration in mg/L of potassium

on the LCD.

• If the analysis result is over the method range use P2 procedure.
