BATTERY REPLACEMENT
When the batteries are
run down "LOBAT" is
displayed on the Liquid
Crystal Display to warn
the user.
Battery replacement
must only take place
in a non hazardous
area using 1.5V alkaline
AA type batteries.
In order to replace run
down batteries, simply
remove the two screws
on the rear cover of the
instrument and replace
the four 1.5V AA bat-
teries with new ones,
paying attention to the
correct polarity.
A 12VDC power source can also be used to
power the unit (see the Accessories section
page 51).
Note: The instrument uses the following con-
figuration.
It is recommendable to purchase the Hanna
HI 710005 and HI 710006 voltage adapters
that use the proper polarity configuration.
Anyway, HI 933300 and HI 9333001 can be
used with other adapters. In this case, re-
member to check the correct polarity of your
adapter before connecting it to the meter.
