ADJUSTMENTS
CLEAN AND RE-PACK WHEEL BEARINGS
Annually disassemble and clean parts in a solvent. Pack bearings (D & H) with a high grade grease.
Reassemble, and tighten hub nut (A) until there is a slight drag on hub when wheel is turning. Check
cotter pin hole location on spindle, back nut off one notch on nut, re-insert cotter pin

WHEEL BEARINGS
IF WHEEL BEARINGS BECOME LOOSE, ADJUST THEM IMMEDIATELY.
1.
Block wheels to prevent rolling, jack up chassis until wheels turn freely.
2.
Remove hub cap
3.
Remove cotter pin (B) from adjusting nut and spindle.
4.
Tighten hub nut (A) until there is a slight drag on hub when wheel is turning.
5.
Check cotter pin hole location on spindle, back nut off one notch on nut, re-insert cotter pin
6.
Replace hub cap, and lower to the ground.
