Driving forward and in
reverse

Switch on the scooter. See ‘Switching on’.
The operating handles are coloured:
Green: forward
driving
Yellow: reverse
driving
Forward driving
•
Driving forward using thumb control:
Slowly push forward the operating handle
(A) with your thumb. The further you push
the handle forward, the faster you will drive.
•
Driving forward using hand control:
Slowly pull back the operating handle (D) by hand. The further you pull the handle
towards you, the faster you will drive.
Reverse driving
•
Reverse driving:
Release the operating handle. The Winner will come to a standstill.
•
Driving in reverse using thumb control:
When the scooter has comet to a complete standstill, slowly push the operating
handle (C) forward with your thumb. The further you push the handle forward, the
faster you will drive in reverse.
•
Driving in reverse using hand control:
Slowly pull back the operating handle (B) by hand. The further you pull the handle
towards you, the faster you will drive in reverse.
•
Make sure there is nothing behind the scooter when you
reverse.
•
The maximum speed in reverse is equal to half the maximum
speed forward.
Braking and stopping while driving forward or reversing
If you release the operating handle slowly, the Winner will brake and come to a
standstill.
While braking, the brake lights will go on.
Under normal circumstances, you have to release the operating handle slowly when
you want to stop.
As soon as the scooter is stopped, the automatic parking brake is applied.
Remarks:
You can inspect the brakes by suddenly releasing the operating handle.
