17. Hip strap:
The chair has a hip strap to ensure extra stability for the
upper body during use.
To adjust the hip strap:
First adjust the strap so that it is wider than necessary for
the client’s body size.
Fasten the belt and then pull it to sufficiently tighten it
around the client’s body.
CAUTION:
Check that the belt clasp is secured properly!

20. To stand up from the chair:
WARNING:
Prevent injury due to the chair tilting over!
NEVER stand on the footrests!
WARNING:
Prevent injury due to the chair moving away while the
client gets up!
ALWAYS rotate the castors outwards and apply the
brakes (4x)!
19. To stand up from the chair:
Adjust the chair to a height where the client can place
their feet on the floor. Avoid that the client’s knees have
to be bent to an angle of less than 90 degrees.
Fold up the foot plates (fig. 12).
CAUTION:
Make sure that the foot plates have been folded up
completely and that there is sufficient space between
the footrests before the client gets up from the chair!
