8. Alarm input/output connection
Sensor power: the host supply a +12V voltage output interface
Alarm input: physical connections mode of normal on/off are the same, by selecting normal on/off alarm input mode can realize the function.
Typical alarm connection: sensor power supply is provided by NVR
Alarm output connection: normally, the alarm output side is off and closed without voltage output when alarm, So the outside horn, lamp,
alarm need external power supply to work.
The sensor requires a separate power supply if the distance between the sensor and the DVR is too long
Single power supply, link to ground on both ends if possible. The DVR can not recognize the triggered if the sensor is parallel connected.
Only one resistor is needed.
