h) one person should stand on a stool or similar at the highest point of the roof while another
person tensions the strap at the corner foot pieces.
i) the person at the highest point checks that the canvas and strap are correctly placed above the
stay and around the edge of the end wall.
j) when the strap is tightened, make sure that the door remains at a right angle and reaches all the
way to the ground.
Do NoT PULL Too HARD.
STEP 6. STRAIGHTENING UP AND ANcHoRING THE FRAmE
a) check that the frame is in the desired location.
b) check that the distance between the walls is 305 cm at both wall ends and in the middle.
c) measure the frame diagonals (a to b and c to D in the image). when both the diagonals are
equal, the frames’ corners are at right angles. if the diagonals are not equal lengths, use a rubber
mallet to tap the corner support at the end of the longer diagonal so that it moves towards the corner
support at the other end of the diagonal. repeat until the diagonals are of equal length.
d) check once more that the width is 305 cm at both ends and in the middle.
e) anchor the corner foot pieces with the screw anchor, wire and wire lock by screwing down the
screw anchors into the ground inside the tent.
