Finishing the light kit and 
attaching the glass shade

Assembly — Installing the Light Kit (continued)

CAUTION:

 Before starting installation, disconnect the 

power by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse 
at the fuse box. Turning power off using the fan switch is not 
sufficient to prevent electric shock.

     Install the 100 watt JD type halogen bulb (L) 

(included).

     Raise the glass shade (M) up against the light kit 

mounting plate (J) and secure the glass shade (M) to 
the fan by turning the glass shade (M) 
counterclockwise until snug. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.

     Restore power and your light kit is ready for 

operation.
