Installing the glass shade

CAUTION:

 Before starting the installation, disconnect the 

power by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse 
at the fuse box. Turning power off using the fan switch is not 
sufficient to prevent electric shock.

     While holding the glass shade (G), slip the pull chain 

(RR) from the switch housing into the outside hole in 
the glass shade (G).

     Feed the pull chain (SS) from the light kit stem 

through the eyelet in the glass shade (G).

     Place the glass shade (G) over the light kit stem. 

Secure the glass shade (G) with the metal nut (GG) 
(rubber side on the top).

     Fit the glass cap (HH) onto the light kit stem and then 

slip the pull chain (RR) through the hole on the side of 
the glass cap (HH).

     Feed the pull chain (RR) from the light kit stem 

through the glass cap (HH) and the decorative nut (II), 
and then thread the decorative nut (II) on securely. Do 
not overtighten.
