Warranty

Replacing the battery

CAUTION

: When replacing the batteries, use two (2) 

LR6 AA 1.5V alkaline batteries.

IMPORTANT

: Dispose of the batteries in accordance with 

local, state, and federal regulations.

 

Remove and save the screw at the top of the battery 
compartment (B).

 

Slide off the battery cover.

 

Replace the old batteries with two (2) new LR6 AA 1.5V 
alkaline batteries.

 

Slide the battery cover back on to the battery compartment (B) 

and secure using the screw that was removed in the first step.

 

Adult supervision is necessary when changing or disposing of batteries.

 

Make sure the unit is switched to the “OFF” position when changing batteries.

 

Batteries must be inserted with the correct polarity.

 

Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types such as alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) and re-chargeable (nickel cadmium or nickel metal 
hydride) batteries.

 

The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited under any circumstances.

 

Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the unit.

 

Replace batteries when the light is faint. Replace all batteries at the same time.

 

Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.

 

Do not allow any parts of the unit to come in contact with heat or flame.

 

Never throw batteries in a fire or attempt to open outer casing. Batteries may explode or leak.

 

Dispose of old batteries carefully. Batteries should be recycled or disposed of as per manufacturer’s recommendations.

 

Batteries are  harmful if swallowed, so keep away from young children.

 

Remove batteries when not used for an extended period, or when depleted. Batteries can corrode over time and may cause permanent damage to the unit.

 

Discharged batteries should be removed immediately from the battery compartment in order to avoid leakage.

The manufacturer warrants this product to be free for two (2) years against any defects that are due to faulty materials or workmanship. This warranty applies only 
to the original consumer and only to products used in normal use and service. If this product is found to be defective, the manufacturer’s only obligation, and your 
exclusive remedy, is the repair or replacement of the product at the manufacturer’s discretion, provided that the product has not been damaged through misuse, abuse, 

accident, modifications, alterations, neglect or mishandling. This warranty shall not apply to any product that is found to have been improperly installed, set up, or used 

in any way not in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product. This warranty shall not apply to a failure of the product as a result of an accident, misuse, 

abuse, negligence, alteration, or faulty installation or any other failure not relating to faulty workmanship. This warranty shall not apply to the finish on any portion of 
the product, such as surface and/or weathering, as this is considered normal wear and tear. The manufacturer does not warrant and specifically disclaims any war

ranty, whether expressed or implied, or fitness for a particular purpose, other than the warranty contained herein. The manufacturer specifically disclaims any liability 

and shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental loss or damage, including any labor/expense costs involved in the replacement or repair of said product.

: For best performance, replace with a LR6 AA

LED light is not lighting up.

 

The battery is not making contact. Make sure batteries are properly placed inside of the battery compartment.

 

The battery is reaching the end of its useful life. Replace the old battery with a new battery.
