Tightening bolts

Attaching seat and back frames
□
Attach seat frame-1 (B) to the back frames (E and F) by using
one connector (FF) and two 1/4 in. x 20 mm bolts (AA) with
two washers (DD).
□
Guide the bolts (AA) through the holes in seat frame-1 (B),
into the pre-drilled holes in the back frames (E and F).
□
Repeat for the other connectors (FF).
□
Hand tighten only.
□
After making any necessary adjustments to the the alignment
of the seat, use the hex bolt driver (GG) to tighten all bolts (AA,
BB and CC). Tighten each bolt a few revolutions at a time. In
order to apply equal pressure to all bolt joints, we recommend
working in a cross corner (X) pattern. Repeat until all bolts are
tight. Do not over tighten. Over tightening may strip the bolts.
Ensure all bolts are covered with bolt covers (EE). See the
illustrations in Steps 1 - 5 for proper placement of the bolt
covers (EE).
