Unpacking the light fixture

 

 

Carefully unpack the fixture and lay out all parts on a clean 
surface.

Cutting the cord

 

 

Cut off the plug-in cord to keep the power wires 12 inches 
longer than the length that you want to hang the fixture.

NOTE:

 If wiring to an outlet box, follow instructions below.

If using power cord, return to using power cord instructions.

 
 

Installation - hardwired

Splitting the wires 

 

 

 

 

 

Split the end of the wires 6 inches from the end.

Strip the plastic covers off the black and white wires about 1/2 
inch from the end.

Strip the plastic cover off the green wire about 5 inches from the 
end.

Determining the length of chain 

 

 

Determine the length of chain required to hang the fixture at the 
desire height, remove chain links from the chain (E) in order to 
achieve the desired length for hanging the light fixture.

To open the chain link: Use a pair of pliers and a screwdriver 
as shown above to open a chain link. Wrap the jaws of the 
pliers with cloth to protect the finish.
