Fastening the blade assemblies to 
the motor

Fasten the blade assembly to the fan-motor assembly (D) 
by inserting the alignment post into the slot on the bottom 
of the motor and tightening the blade bracket (H) screws. 
The blade bracket screws are pre-installed into the blade 
bracket (H).

 

Repeat this step for the remaining blade assemblies. 

 

Replace the rubber plug (HH).

WARNING:

 Replace the rubber plug (HH) to prevent water from 

entering the switch housing and to reduce the risk of fire, 
electric shock, or other personal injury.

IMPORTANT: 

Remove the rubber plug (HH) on the switch cup 

(RR) below the motor in order to remove the shipping retainer 

(OO) on the bottom of the motor assembly.

Remove and save the rubber plug (HH) in the access hole (KK) 
of the switch cup (RR) below the motor assembly (D).

 

Insert the screw driver through the access hole (KK) and 
remove the five shipping retainer screws (PP). Rotate the 
shipping retainer (OO) as needed to remove the screws.

 

Remove and discard the shipping retainer (OO) and shipping 
retainer screws (PP).

IMPORTANT:

 The switch cup (RR) has an access hole (KK) to 

allow the screwdriver to reach the shipping retainer screws 
(PP).

IMPORTANT:

to allow the screwdriver to reach the screws on the blade 
bracket (H).
