Installing the Light Kit 8.

NOTE

: Before starting installation, disconnect 

the power by turning off the circuit breaker or 
removing the fuse at fuse box.

Turning power off using the fan switch is not 
sufficient to prevent electric shock.

 Attach the light plate to the light plate holder 

by feeding the wires (blue and white) out of the 
fans through the hole of light plate and then 
screw it onto the light plate holder with 3 screws, 
be sure to slide the light plate to the 2 screws on 
the light plate holder and rotate the light plate 
clockwise until tight.

. Locate two single white and black wires in the 

light plate. Make the polarized plug connections:

-White to white
-Blue to black

. Install two 13 Watt compact fluorescent bulbs 

(included).

. Raise glass shade up against bottom of fan 

housing and secure with three screws provided.

. Restore power and your light kit is ready  for 

operation.

. If the light kit does not work, turn off the 

electricity and lower either canopy or decorative 
housing on your ceiling fan to make sure the blue 
wire is connected to the black household wire. 

NOTE

: Light bulbs have no warranty, can be 

purchased at local light bulb specialty store or 
from our service center.
