This section describes how to install the blue ARROW control system. For more information about
installation and connections, please refer to the relevant schematic on the HamiltonJet web site.

If no schematic is available for a particular vessel configuration, please contact HamiltonJet.
Make sure that primary and secondary power supplies to the control system are
OFF
before connecting or disconnecting any modules.
Arc welding
Note the following when welding:
If welding is to be closer than 1 metre to any module or cable, the module or cable
must be disconnected and protected from welding and grinding debris.
Disconnect the batteries to the control system during arc welding.
Always use short earthing cables to earth the arc welding operation locally.
Make sure all modules are bonded to the vessel using the supplied earth wire
Tools
Installation of the blue Arrow system requires the following tools:
Spanners, range of metric or imperials sizes including: metric (mm): 8, 10, 12, 14, 20, 22, 24.
Screwdrivers, range of sizes, flatblade and posidrive.
Socket set, range of sizes with ratchet, including: metric (mm): 10.
Loctite, 263 222.
Cable ties.
Laptop computer with HamiltonJet blue ARROW Support Tool Application.
5-pin mini-B to standard USB connector.
