Deliming the water tank

Depending on your local water conditions, it may be necessary
to delime the water tank occasionally. Mineral buildup should
be removed from stainless steel surfaces to prevent corrosion
which may cause leaks.
Refer to the “Troubleshooting Guide” to determine if your
brewer needs to be delimed.

NOTE:

For excessive lime build up, call an authorized service

center to have the tank removed and cleaned out.

1

. Unplug brewer or disconnect power.

2.

With the brew basket empty, place an empty decanter under
the brew basket.

3.

Pour a quart of white vinegar or deliming agent into the pour
hole on top of the brew head. Let the vinegar remain in the
tank for three hours.

4.

Plug in brewer or reconnect power.

5.

Run 10 full brew cycles back-to-back through the system
using just water to remove the vinegar taste.

Storing the coffee brewer

If the coffee brewer will not be used for an extended period,
empty any water out of the reservoir and system, and clean
and dry it thoroughly.
