How to Use the Kettle

CAUTION
Burn Hazard.
Do not overfill kettle. Boiling
water may spit out of the spout.
1.
Pull up on lid knob to open
and to remove tea steeper.
Add water. Do not fill above
MAX fill line or below MIN fill
line.
2.
While holding lid knob, turn tea steeper basket counterclockwise
to remove. Add loose tea or tea bags to basket. Place basket on
bottom of tea steeper top and turn clockwise to lock. Rotate knob
to unlock. Pull the basket up until it locks into place and Insert
steeper assembly into kettle. When kettle has finished boiling, push
steeper assembly down to steep. Place kettle on base.
3.
Plug into outlet.
To Remove Tea Steeper Assembly
Kettle must be completely cooled before handling.
1.
Pull up on lid to remove.
2.
Press in tabs to remove rod and basket.
To Install Tea Steeper Assembly
1.
On a secure flat surface, place lid directly over
rod and push down to secure.
2.
Insert tea assembly into kettle and press lid
down into place.
5.
Press ON/OFF (
I
/ ) switch
down to turn on. Power light
inside kettle and the power
light will illuminate in blue
while heating, then will shut
off automatically when water
has boiled. Pour hot water.
Unplug.
NOTE: *
Removable lid must always be in place. *Kettle can be
used to heat water, with or without tea basket in place.
