5. Setting the TV size on the X-arm™ bracket
To prevent injuries and damage to the device, it is important to adjust the X-arm™ bracket to the TV width. The movement radius of the
bracket is limited according to the TV size set on the X-arm™ bracket.
5-1. Plug the power cable in and connect the X-arm
TM
bracket to an earthed power source.
The X-arm™ power cable is equipped with an earthing connector. It must be plugged into a
suitable socket that corresponds to all local installation and earthing regulations and
ordinances. More earthing information is located at the beginning of these instructions.
5-2. Switch the Power toggle switch on (position 1).
5-3. Measure the entire width of the TV, including
any integrated side speakers. To set the TV size
on the X-arm
TM
bracket, do not use the screen
size specifi ed by the manufacturer.
5-4. Insert the provided plastic pin into the opening marked Selection, and press the button until
the TV size code matches the width of your TV according to the table below.

5-5. Hold the black Selection button pressed down until the TV size
code no longer fl ashes.
5-6. Connect the infrared receiver.
