2.5.4 FTP configuration
The system requires the following settings to upload (save) a
captured image on an FTP server.
FTP server:
Enter the IP address or host name of
the FTP server.
FTP port:
The FTP port number to be used
User name:
Enter the user name for the FTP server.
Password:
Enter the password for this user name.
Directory:
If you want, you can select a directory
for saving the uploaded images.
Passive mode:
Most FTP servers work in both passive
and non-passive mode.
Further information is available from
your FTP server provider.
Save your settings by clicking
„Apply“.
Subsequently, you can upload a test file to the FTP server.
To do so, click
„Upload test file“.
2.5.5 SD card
If the picture/video is to be saved on an SD card, you can
determine the file name of the file you want to save here.
You can also specify a target folder.
Cyclic recording:
When this function is activated, the
camera will overwrite the oldest image
on the memory card once the memory
card is full.
2.6 System
This menu item enables you to select all relevant system settings
such as password and time settings.
2.6.1 Camera information
Camera name:
You can change the name of the
wireless LAN camera here. This helps
you to identify each camera without
ambiguity if you are operating several
cameras on your network.
Password:
You can change the password for user
„admin“
here. The default
administrator‘s password is
„1234“.
Password confirmation:
You must re-enter your new password
to avoid typing errors.
Samba Network
This function makes it possible to use motion detection for trans-
ferring the images or videos taken directly on a Samba release.
This can be a PC or NAS in the network.
In the Recording folder:
Switch the function on or off here.
Authentication:
Select here whether authentication
is required for the Samba release.
Select “Account” if you want
authentication to be required.
Select “Anonymous” if no
authentication is required.
User name:
Enter the user name here.
Password:
Enter the password for this account.
Samba server:
Enter the address of the Samba server
here.
Shared folder:
Select the folder on the Samba server
where the images/videos should be
saved.
File size for recording:
Enter the maximum file size in
MB
here.
