1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Hama Laser Presenter.
These operating instructions include information about
operating your laser presenter as well as answers to questions
about certain special buttons.Please keep these instructions in
a safe location.
2. Inserting the batteries
Insert the batteries into the battery compartment as shown,
observing proper polarity.
3. Using the laser pointer
Turn the pointer on by pressing the “Laser pointer” button.
Warning:
Never point the laser beam into another person’s eyes or
your own; doing so may cause retinal injury.
4. Using the presenter
Connecting the USB receiver
a) Connect the USB receiver to a free USB port on the PC.
b) Windows detects the USB receiver and installs it in the
operating
system
The presenter supports vertical scrolling in Windows Office
programs such as Word and Excel. In presentation programs
such as PowerPoint, the
“side forward”
and
“side backward”
function is supported.
A USB extension cable is included in the packaging in order to
allow for data transfer via the infrared signal (line of sight
contact between the receiver and the sender).
The operating range between the sender and the receiver is
max. 15 m.
