11. Alarm

The radio has two individually adjustable alarm times.

11.1 Settings

Alarm 1 and alarm 2 are configured identically and

allow two separate alarm times to be saved. Switch off

alarm 1 or 2 - by pressing and holding [

ALARM

] 2 (7) or using the system settings.

Confirm the selection by pressing [

OK

].

Activation / deactivation:

Select On to activate the alarm and to make the alarm

settings.

Select Off to deactivate the alarm.

Confirm the selection by pressing [

].

Time:

First choose the hour, then the minute at which the alarm

is to activate.

Confirm the selection by pressing [

OK

].

Mode:

Choose when the alarm is to activate:

Daily – Once – Weekdays – Weekends

Confirm the selection by pressing [

OK

].

Date:

If you selected

, enter the date for the one-off alarm.

Buzzer/DAB/FM:

Set whether you wish to be woken by an alarm tone

If you selected DAB/ FM, choose which station you wish

to be woken with. You can choose any of the 30 preset

Volume:

You can set the volume at which the alarm sound should

be played. This setting makes it irrelevant how loud you

last listened to the radio.

].

Note

It is recommended to allow the radio to update the

time automatically. This ensures that the time is always

correct even if there is a separation of power supply –

for example a power cut.

Following successful activation, the alarm symbol (alarm 1

or alarm 2) appears at the right-hand edge of the screen.

11.2 Activating / deactivating the alarm

To activate / deactivate the alarm, proceed as follows:

Select alarm 1 or 2 - by pressing hand holding [

ALARM

]

Confirm the selection by pressing [

].

Select ON to activate the alarm and to make the alarm

11.3 Stopping the alarm / Snooze function

When the alarm activates, press [ ] to stop the alarm.

The radio has a snooze function that retriggers the alarm

once a selected time period has elapsed.

To set the time period, proceed as follows:

Press [ ] to access the menu.

Select "System settings" and confirm your selection

with [

OK

].

Select "Snooze" and define the required time period

(5/10/15/20/30/45/60 minutes). Confirm your entry

with [

OK

].

Pressing [

BACK

] takes you back to the playback screen.

12. Timer/Sleep

The radio has a timer function, which switches the radio

to standby mode after a pre-defined length of time.

Press [

] to set the required time period

(5/10/15/30/45/60 minutes) using [

Volume -/+

].

Confirm your entry with[
