3. Safety notes
Warning
Run the cable of the Notebook lock so that it does not pose
a tripping hazard or block emergency exits.
4. Setting the combination number
Note
The combination is factory-set to ‚0000‘
• Push the cable into the lock with a valid combination (Pic. 1)
and rotate the cable clockwise by 45° until the cable locks
into place.
• Using the numbered wheels, enter your new, personalised
combination.
• Release the cable by rotating it anti-clockwise in order to save
the new combination.
Note
• We expressly recommend writing the new combination
down and storing it in a safe place.
• We accept no liability for any damages resulting from lost
or forgotten combinations.
5. Connection and locking of Notebook lock
• Attach the cable to a fixed object, e.g. foot of a table,
cupboard.
• Hold down the button on the lock.
• Plug the lock into the USB port on the device you
want to secure.
• Then release the button.
• Adjust the combination number.
6. Open the Notebook lock
• Enter the correct combination number.
• Press the button.
• Pull the lock out of the USB port.
