Installation
1. Connect your AV devices (DVD player, satellite receiver, etc.) to the “Matrix 4x2” HDMI
switching console inputs. Ensure that your devices are switched off.
2. Connect your display devices (monitor, LCD, etc.) to the outputs of the HDMI switching
console. You can connect an additional audio device (e.g. hi-fi system, amplifi er, etc.) to the
digital RCA output on the HDMI output A.
3. Connect the 5 V power supply unit to the console’s power supply input.
4. Switch your display devices on.
5. Switch your source devices (AV devices) on.
6. Switch between the individual AV devices using the remote control.
7. The “Select/Power Active A” and “Select/Power Active B” buttons on the front side of the
console can be used to switch each output to any input.
8. If you hold the “Select/Power” buttons down for approx. 3 seconds, the corresponding output
will be switched off.
Remote control
You can use the “Output A/B power” button to turn the switch on and off. You can switch
between the inputs by using the buttons 1-4. Press the “Reset” button to reset the switch.
Troubleshooting
Problem
Solution
The HDMI switching console is not
functioning:
• Ensure that the 5 V power supply unit is connected
to the HDMI switching console.
No signal output on the display device
or the picture quality is very poor:
• Ensure that your output device is HDCP-compatible.
• Your HDMI cable should not exceed a total length
of 5 m.
• Ensure that all cables are correctly connected.
• Switch all devices off and then on again.
The remote control does not work:
• Ensure that there are batteries in the remote control.
Safety instructions
The device is not protected against drops or splashes of water. To avoid damaging the device
and to prevent injuries due to short circuits, do not let the product come into contact with rain,
moisture or other liquids. Connect the device only to an electrical socket that has been
approved for the device. The mains socket must always be easily accessible. Never use or open
a defective device. Repair work may only be conducted by an authorised specialist. As with all
electronic devices, keep the device out of the reach of children. If you do not intend to use the
device for a long period, disconnect it from the power supply. The device is designed for power
grids with AC 100 ~ 240 V / 50 Hz.
