* Delete all existing commands before
programming in your commands.
Do not carry out the learn function directly
under a low-power energy-saving lamp.
Such lamps (e.g. fluorescent tubes) can
contain wavelengths in the infrared spectrum,
which can affect the learn function.
Programming commands
To program, proceed as follows:
a. Lay the two remote controls on a table
with the infrared diodes pointed at each
other at a distance of between 15 and 50
mm. The infrared diodes must be pointed
exactly at each other.
b. Press and hold the Setup button for
approx. 3 seconds until CODE SETUP
appears.
c. Briefly press the Setup button three more
to access the LERNEN SETUP menu.
d. Press OK to access Learn mode.
e. Confirm by pressing OK again.
f. Now select the source button to which
the device with the original remote control
was programmed.
g. The prompt LERNEN TASTE appears.
Select the button on the universal remote
control to which the function from the
original remote control is to be saved (not
Setup and MACRO).
h. ORIG. FB-TASTE now appears. Now press
the button on the original remote control
whose function you wish to transfer to
the universal remote control. Continue to
press this button until either the message
FERTIG or LERNEN FEHL. appears.
i. The prompt LERNEN MEHR? appears.
j. If you wish to perform more learn
functions, press OK to confirm. The prompt
LERNEN TASTE appears again. Proceed as
described starting with point g.
k. Press EXIT when you would like to end the
learn function.
The remote control then switches to normal
operation mode.
Deleting commands
Deleting commands for only one source
button
a. Access learn mode as described in the
previous section, steps a. to d. Proceed
as follows:
b. Select the LOESCHEN MODUS menu
using the navigation buttons and press
OK.
c. Now select the source buttons whose
commands you wish to delete.
d. Confirm the following prompt
LOESCHEN BEST. by pressing OK. If this
message does not appear, the source
button has no commands.
e. WARTEN... appears followed shortly by
the confirmation message FERTIG.
The remote control then switches to normal
operation mode.
