Safety instructions
• Protect the product from moisture.
• Do not leave the SAT
fi nder permanently installed
between the SAT dish and receiver.
• When working in the roof area, be aware of safety
regulations (danger of falling). If in doubt, contact
a quali
fi ed expert and do not attempt to install
it yourself!
• This product is intended for private, non-
commercial use only.
• Use the product only for the intended purpose.
• Protect the product from dirt, moisture and
overheating and use it in dry environments only.
• Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of
heaters, other heat sources or in direct sunlight.
• Only use the article under moderate climatic
conditions.
• As with all electrical products, this device should
be kept out of the reach of children.
• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to
any major shocks.
• Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so
voids the warranty.
Adjusting the SAT system to the best possible
reception with the SAT Finder
• Disconnect the satellite receiver from the power
supply and connect the SAT Finder using an F-plug
cable between the LNB and receiver.
• Connect the receiver back to the power supply and
select a program slot.
• Set the SAT aerial (SAT dish) roughly to the desired
satellites using the protractor and compass. Find
the right satellites by turning and swivelling the
SAT aerial.
• If the LNB level display is full (see A), turn the
level control (B) back anti-clockwise until only 2-3
LEDs light up.
• Now fi nely adjust the aerial until as many red LEDs
(A) light up as possible.
• The "22kHz" LED (C) lights up when the 22 kHz
signal is being transmitted.
• Attaching the aerial fastenings with screws.
• ATTENTION: Tightening the screws can change the
set value again.
• Check on your receiver whether the desired
satellite can be received in the desired quality.
• You can now remove the SAT Finder and reconnect
the LNB and receiver.
