FIXTURE BOXES
1.
Line up the holes on the mounting bracket (B) with
the holes on your junction box. Using either (2) #6
screws or (2) #8 screws (D) (depending on size of
the holes in your junction box), attach the mounting
bracket (B) to your junction box (Fig. 5).
2.
Thread fixture wires through mounting bracket (B)
(Fig. 5).
3.
Hang one end of the support hook (F) onto the
mounting bracket guide tabs and hang the light
fixture on the other end of the support hook (Fig. 6).
4.
Thread fixture wires through the gasket (C) and
connect fixture black wire to house black wire,
fixture white wire to house white wire, and fixture
ground wire to house ground wire using the
attached quick connectors (Fig.8).
5.
Remove support hook (F) and attach fixture (A) to
the mounting bracket (B) using (2) #8 x 1-1/4 in.
screws (D) provided. Be sure no loose wires remain
sticking out from underneath the coverplate. Insert
the decorative screw cover caps (H) into the screw
holes on the coverplate for a finished appearance
(Fig. 7).
6.
Apply silicone caulk around the edges of the
coverplate to provide a watertight seal from
rain and moisture.
7.
Turn on power at main fuse/breaker box.

warrants to customers that, for a period of five years from
the date of purchase,
CLS
products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship.
The obligation of
CLS
under this warranty is expressly limited to the provision of replacement
products. This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of the product. A
purchaser’s receipt or other proof of date of original purchase acceptable to
CLS
. This is
required before warranty performance shall be rendered. This warranty does not apply to
CLS
products that have been altered or repaired that have been subjected to neglect, abuse,
misuse or accident (including shipping damages). This warranty does not apply to products
not manufactured by
CLS
which have been supplied, installed, and/or used in conjunction with
CLS
products. Damage to the product caused by replacement bulbs or corrosion or
discoloration of brass components are not covered by this warranty.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
IN NO EVENT SHALL
CLS
BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUEN-
TIAL DAMAGES (REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, STRICT
LIABILITY, OR IN TORT INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), NOR FOR LOST PROFITS; NOR SHALL THE
LIABILITY OF
CLS
FOR ANY CLAIMS OR DAMAGE ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THESE
TERMS OR THE MANUFACTURE, SALE, DELIVERY, USE, MAINTENANCE, REPAIR OR
MODIFICATION OF
CLS
PRODUCTS, OR SUPPLY OF ANY REPLACEMENT PARTS THEREFORE,
EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF
CLS
PRODUCTS GIVING RISE TO A CLAIM. NO LABOR
CHARGES WILL BE ACCEPTED TO REMOVE OR INSTALL FIXTURES.

All returned products must be accompanied by a Return Goods Authorization Number issued
by the Company and must be returned freight prepaid. Any product received without a Return
Goods Authorization Number from the Company will be refused. CLS is not responsible for
merchandise damaged in transit. Repaired or replaced products shall be subject to the terms
of this warranty and are inspected when packed. Evident or concealed damage that is made
in transit should be reported at once to the carrier making the delivery and a claim filed with
them.

Problem
Cause / Solution
Light does not
come ON.
No power to the fixture.
• Check if circuit breaker tripped.
• Confirm wall switch is ON.
TURN OFF POWER BEFORE CONTINUING
Wiring to the unit is loose.
• Confirm wiring is properly secured.
* If light still does not come on after checking wiring
connections, contact Customer Service.
Light flashes
Make sure fixture is not on the same circuit as any dimmer,
or ceiling fan
WALL AND EAVE SURFACE MOUNT FIXTURE BOXES
PART 1: ATTACHING ADAPTER PLATE TO FIXTURE BOX
For use with 4” round fixture box
1.
Determine the proper orientation of the adapter
plate based on your fixture box location. You may
need to drill out the alternate mounting holes to
properly mount the adapter plate to your fixture box
using a 7/32” drill bit.
2.
Peel off the adhesive side of gasket (E) and place on
the bottom of the adapter plate (A), making sure to
line up the holes in the gasket with the plate (Fig. 1).
3.
Route supply wires through center hole of adapter
plate (A).
4.
Place two screws (C) or (D) through two holes
in adapter plate (A) and align with fixture box (not
included). Tighten down both screws (Fig. 2).
5.
Apply silicone caulk around the edges of the fixture
box and adapter plate.

PART 2: ATTACHING FLOOD LIGHT FIXTURE TO ADAPTER PLATE
6.
Peel off the adhesive side of the gasket included
with the fixture and place on top of the adapter
plate (A) (Fig. 3).
7.
Make all electrical connections using wire nuts
included with the fixture. Refer to fixture instruction
sheet for detailed wiring instructions.
NOTE:
Ensure that all ground wires are attached.
8.
Line up the holes on the fixture’s coverplate with
the holes on the adapter plate (A). Attach fixture
to the adapter plate (A) using the two #8-32 x 1-¼”
screws included with the fixture (Fig. 4).
9.
Insert decorative screw cover caps (included with
the fixture) into the coverplate holes for a finished
appearance.
10.
Apply silicone caulk to provide a watertight seal
from rain and moisture.
