Scanning
To start your
Halo
Scanner
, simply push the on/off symbol on the back
panel and release. The display will show “Halo Scanner Scanning” and the
scanner will emit a single beep. If no valid microchip is found within 20
seconds, then the display will show “No Tag Found” and the scanner will
again emit a single beep. To start scanning again just press the symbol
again. The
Halo
will automatically switch off after 50 seconds.
The
Halo
will also display the microchip’s temperature of compatible
temperature sensing microchips. The temperature will only be displayed if
the temperature is between 25°C and 43°C.
The outer surface of your
Halo
is the scanning area and when a valid
microchip is found the scanner will emit a double beep and the microchip
number will be shown on the display.
To review previously scanned numbers, wait until the unit has powered
down. Then press and hold the power button on the back for four seconds
and then release. To scroll through the list, press the power button once to
see the next number. To exit this mode, press and hold the power button for
four seconds and release.
Cleaning
Your
Halo
should never be immersed in liquid or placed in any sterilization
equipment. It can be wiped with an antibacterial wipe.
