Keypad Buttons:
•
Numeric Keypad (1 – 9, *, 0, #): Used for entering PIN codes to set / unset the
system (
the default PIN code for your Keypad is 1234 and for security reasons
this should be changed in your online account
). To change the PIN number for
your Keypad, login to your account and go to: Security > Alarm Users and click
on the arrow next to the user. In future if you have more than one user of the
system you can use this section to allocate users unique PIN codes to identify
them at the property.
•
Enter the pin code followed by the set or unset button on the Keypad to activate
or de-‐activate the alarm.
•
Green “unlocked” symbol Key: Used for un-‐setting your Halo alarm system.
•
Red “locked” symbol Key: Used for setting your Halo alarm system.
•
“Man in House” symbol Key: Used for setting your Halo alarm system to Home Arm
mode. Home Arm mode enables you to part set the system so you can have part of
the property protected whilst you occupy another part. To determine which sensors
you would like the system to ignore when using Home mode, go to My Equipment in
your online account and change the settings for the sensors you wish to remain un-‐
set. The setting that you need to choose is Home Omit. For example, if you wish to
keep the upstairs sensors un-‐set at night whilst keeping the downstairs sensors
active and monitoring for intruders, ensure that the upstairs sensors are in Home
Omit mode before pressing the “Home Arm” button on the Keypad. The downstairs
sensors should then remain in Burglar mode.
•
“Help” symbol Key: Instant Panic alarm button – this instantly alerts all of your
contacts to an emergency at the property.
Quick-‐Keys:
•
Press and hold the HELP button to initiate a panic alarm.
•
Press the 4 + 6 keys together to initiate a fire alarm.
