Receiver Control Unit (RCU)
In compliance with UNECE Regulation 141, the TPMS 2.0 RCU will warn the driver in the event of a low-pressure
or TPMS malfunction.
A maximum of 12 wheel unit sensors can be programmed to 1 RCU – if more wheels are required per trailer,
additional RCUs (up to 3) can be linked together. See possible configurations on page 18.
Configuring the system
To configure the system, the Haldex TPMS Smart DIAG phone application is to be used. See page 42
for more
detailed instruction on its use.
The overview is as follows:

The RCU is plugged into the EB+ 4.0 EBS and powered.
›
The appropriate configuration is selected by the user.
›
The recommended pressure and warning thresholds per axle can be adjusted according to the tyre
manufacturers / OEM recommendations.
›
The Smart box tool is used to trigger the RCU(s).
›
The Smart box tool is used to trigger each WUS in turn, paying attention to the position of each.
›
The configuration is written into the RCU(s).
